Frederick Frank Hooker Obituary
FREDERICK FRANK HOOKER On 7/28/13, Frederick Frank Hooker (aka Freddy or Rick) of Riverside, CA passed away peacefully in his sleep to go to the giant woodshop in the sky. Freddy was more than just a carpenter - he was an inventor, thinker and jack-of-all-trades. Tell Freddy what you needed, and he would build it, and far exceed your expectations! You might need a forklift to move it, but you knew it would last forever. After settling in Riverside in the 60's, Freddy designed and built 3 bars & restaurantsThe Three Fishes, The John Bull, and Freddy Hookers. The amazing thing is he did all of this with poor eyesight, as Freddy was born legally blind. Holding tightly to his English roots and accent, people from all over would come to visit his establishments & listen to his stories and enjoy a cold one (or in Freddy's case, a warm one) Freddy is survived by his wife Jimsy, and two daughters, Roxanne Hurwitz and Rochelle Strong. To celebrate Freddy's life, the family would like to invite you to a life party to share your stories and great memories of this unique man. The party will be held at 5611 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA on Saturday, June 14th from 4pm-10pm or email your stories or condolences to [email protected], and we will share them at the event.
