GARRY SMITH PUGMIRE BROWN, born February 25, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Theodore Pugmire and Esther Smith, later adopted by George Michael Brown passed away peacefully on April 14, 2015 at the age of 84 of natural causes. Garry and his beloved wife Darlene Wadsworth Brown were married in the LDS Temple in Los Angeles CA. on April 19, 1956 A well-known "Insurance Man" in the Hemet valley and a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Garry gave of himself in support of his family, his faith, his country and community. As an Eagle Scout and recipient of the BSA Silver Beaver award Garry held his many adventures with the Boy Scouts of Troop 119 and 108 as some of his fondest memories. It is with an abiding faith in the eternal plan of a wise and loving Father in Heaven that Garry has left us, firm in the knowledge of his purpose on this earth and beyond and of a heavenly day of resurrection and reunion with his family and loved ones. Garry is survived by his devoted family: wife Darlene; daughter Kara Lyn Dennis (David); sons Michael (Mary), Marc (Janelle); grandchildren Sydney, Wyatt, Jack, Kristin, Courtney (Bridger) Skylar (Kristin), Jordan and great-grandson Hudson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 23 at 11:30 a.m. at the Hemet LDS Chapel located at 425 N. Kirby Street, Hemet CA. preceded by a viewing beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BSA Echo Hills Ward Troop 408 c/o Bishop Tal Jergensen 27492 Tierra Verde Drive, Hemet, CA. 92544.
