January 4, 1969 - August 30, 2018Gary Dyal was born in Corona, California on January 4, 1969 to Nicole and LeRoy (Lee) Dyal and left this earth on August 30, 2018 by means of a motor vehicle accident.Gary grew up in Corona and graduated from Corona High School in 1987. He went on to attend Cal Poly Pomona and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 1993.Gary and Eva met on April 20, 1996 and were married on June 11, 1998 in Maui, Hawaii. He and his family had just returned in July from a return trip to Maui, where they celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.Gary was devoted to his wife Eva and his two sons Lucas and Caleb, ages 13 and 11. Spending time with his children was the most important thing in his life, and he was immensely proud of them. He is also survived by his mother Nicole, his father Lee, his brother Kenny (Terry) Fowler and sister Debbie (Russ) Bellinger, and many extended family members, including sisters and brothers in law, nieces, and nephews he loved dearly.Gary loved being an engineer, particularly in solving design problems. He spent much of his career designing medical devices. No one was a stranger to Gary, and he loved to tell a good story. He had a unique sense of humor, which brought laughter to many lives.Gary's interests included dirt bike riding, Jeeps, and traveling with his family, especially spending time in Alaska fishing. He was an AYSO referee for 8 years and a life long Miami Dolphins fan. His family will remember him for his talent to turn a humorous phrase as well as the many delicious dishes he would prepare at family holiday reunions. He loved a great cup of coffee and made a mean burrito.Visitation will be held Friday, September 7 from 5-8PM at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary in Riverside. The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 8 at Magnolia Church, 8351 Magnolia Ave. in Riverside. A reception at the church will follow, and the interment will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park at 2:30 that afternoon.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in Gary's name to Samaritan's Purse (www.samaritanspurse.org) or World Vision (www.worldvision.org).
