He was raised by his mother Fleurette Allen and his grandmother Emerentienne Girard Daigneault. An only child, Gary grew up with his cousins Yvette, Jeanne and Vincent Daigneault, but his favorite was his Uncle Joseph. Gary entered the United States Air Force and served one term before being honorably discharged. He worked in real estate for builders and brokers from 1973-1980 in Texas and Orange County, California. He loved collecting big cars - the Buicks, Cadillacs and Chryslers - and owned over 200 cars in his lifetime. He was proud of his scale models of some of the more unique vehicles. He loved travel, good food and wine, and dancing with his beautiful wife Anna. Gary was also a member of Hemet Valley Baptist Church which he attended until his illness kept him at home. He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Anna, whom he loved with all of his heart, 4 step-children, 12 step-grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
