George V. Clesceri Obituary
GEORGE V. CLESCERI 08/01/1917 to 01/04/2015 George V. Clesceri lived 97 wonderful and productive years. He went home to God early in the morning on January 4, 2015 in Hemet, California. George was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Jennie Clesceri. George is survived by his daughter Rosemary Priebe and spouse Joe; son Joe Clesceri and spouse Carolyn; son Luke Clesceri and spouse Carol; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, all whom adored their "Popo". His life evolved around his love of God and family, and that special unconditional love is his lasting legacy. George was a lover of all sports; especially golf, baseball and football. At the age of 95, he could still bowl a 200 game and was the champ of all family card games. He was president of the Italian Catholic Federation and a member of the Knights of Columbus for a number of years. For many years, he organized bus trips to Laughlin, Nevada for residents of the Hemet area. But most important, George was a lover of people and people loved him. He was so blessed to have so many friends, neighbors and fellow parishioners at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. George will live on in the hearts of those he touched along his journey of life. Rosary services will be held on Friday, January 9th at 10:00 am at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church located at 26340 Soboba Street, Hemet, CA 92544. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am and a luncheon will be served following the mass in the church hall. Donations can be made in George's honor to the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Building Fund.
