"Gracie" married "the love of her life" Oren Wheeler Govier, on August 24, 1945. She was a loving wife for 67 years and a devoted mother to their three children; George, Wendy, and Penny. She filled her family's homes in Vancouver, BC; Minneapolis, MN; and San Jose and Riverside, CA with love, warmth, and joy. Grace was an avid reader and passionate about the arts. She was a talented oil painter whose bright and vibrant still life and landscape paintings reflected her love of flowers and her travel experiences in British Columbia, California, and Maui.
