GWENETH IRENE JACQUES

Gweneth was born on November 24, 1944 to Rev. Leonard Hall (D. 2016) and Zula Hall (D.1986) in Rochester, New York. Born into a Quaker family. Gweneth (Gwen) was the oldest of four children, her living siblings being Arlo, Karen and Iris.
Gwen lived in Richmond, Indiana and Peoria, Illinois. Graduated from Richland Senior High School in Peoria, Ill. In high school she participated in orchestra playing violin and Timpani Kettle drum. She attended college at Bradley University Nursing School 1963-1965. She moved to California in 1970 in Orange County.
She moved to Riverside and married Bob on January 16, 1982. Moved to Hemet, California with Bob in 1990 from Jurupa Valley (Riverside).
She is survived by her loving husband Robert (Bob) Jacques for 35 years; daughter Amber Jacques; sons Ben (Chuy) Sedgwick, John (Fe) Sedgwick and John (Pia) Jacques. She is also survived by her longtime friends Don and Heather Heater of Richmond, Indiana and Osamu and Mitsuko Ushikubo of Japan.
Gwen worked for UCI Medical Center in Orange and Press Enterprise Company in Riverside and Hemet. Gwen earned a Massage Therapist license with the county as well. She also had worked for several local residential facilities for the elderly in Hemet.
Gwen had many hobby's sewing, knitting, reading the Bible and playing the violin. She also loved to travel with Bob to Mexico, Canada and Japan. She traveled coast to coast camping and to Alaska in their 5th wheel trailer with her beloved little dog Cody. She visited all the family along the way in her travels. She enjoyed her home and all the birds that visited her in the back yard. She had many neighbors who she enjoyed her visits with them and the sewing projects she did for them.
On Dec. 3, 2017 a living tribute to Gwen will be at Thousand Trails, Wilderness Lakes Campground, 30605 Briggs Road, Menifee, California 92584. We request that anyone who wishes to attend the tribute to Gwen RSVP the number of guests to Bob Jacques at [email protected]
Depending on the number of guests we may use shuttles to the sight at the campground.
Her interment will be at the Bayview Cemetery in Bayview, Washington in June of 2018. The exact time to be determined at a later date.
