Harold Henry "Hal" Funk Obituary
HAROLD HENRY FUNK "HAL" Hal was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 24, 1920 and passed away at home in Canyon Lake, California on November 7, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Vivian; his 2 daughters Carolynn and Barbara; 4 grandchildren Kristin, Kevin, Damien, & Stephen; and 3 great-grandchildren Mason, Logan, & Corbin. Hal was a very intelligent man and worked professionally as a Quality Control Engineer for over 40 years. He enjoyed being outdoors with the sunshine, and taking his nightly golf cart rides. He also liked going to dinner, having a glass of wine, dancing, playing the piano, and playing card games. More than anything, Hal loved people. He always spoke a kind word and stayed very active. Over the years he was involved with many organizations, including the Elks, the Lions Club, and the Optimist Club. His family and friends will miss his honest ways and compassionate spirit. A celebration of Hal's life will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Evans Brown Sun City Chapel. EVANS BROWN MORTUARY (951) 679-1114
