Heinz was predeceased by his brother Gerhard Lapper, sister-in-law Claudia Lapper and his grandchild Brian Werner. Heinz was a successful contractor with 3 roofing licenses prior to his retirement in 2010 from a successful family business. For business he was able to receive high level security clearance. He was an avid lover of animals. All animals, especially the feral cats that he gently loved into domestication. Heinz appreciated his numerous friendships that were made within organizations and associations both personally and professionally.
