Helen Agnes Morin Fountain Obituary
HELEN AGNES MORIN FOUNTAIN Age 82, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2013, after a brief illness, in Corona, CA. Helen was born May 9, 1931 to Amedee and Lena Morin in New York. She was one of six children. She met Ewald "Pick" Goldmann when she was eleven years old and Ewald told her, "I'm going to marry you when we grow up!" and he did! They were married twenty years and raised three wonderful children. Upon Ewald's death at a young age, Helen remarried and moved to Huntington Beach, CA. The entire family has so many wonderful memories of being at the beach! Helen was a homemaker her entire life and loved to cook. We remember her stuffed cabbage rolls, homemade pizzas, and chocolate pudding pies. She loved to sew, camp, listen to all kinds of music, and dance every chance she got! Helen was known for her big heart and the love of her family and friends. She loved holidays and always made them so special and meaningful. We always had a nativity scene and a pretend fireplace at Christmas. She planned numerous parties that created so many fond and wonderful memories. She later married Edward R. Fountain and continued to live at the beach for twenty seven years. She loved dogs and always had treats for them when they walked by. She was a fun loving person with a passion for life, a great sense of humor, and captivated the room with her sparkling personality and contagious laughter! She made friends wherever she went and there are so many people whose lives she touched along the way, and we know they will cherish her memory. Her grandchildren affectionately called her "Grammy." She will be remembered for her love, style, generosity, strength, shopping sprees, feisty spirit, and zest for life! Helen is survived by her daughter Deborah Ann Vierra (Bob), Lee Mark (Phyllis) Goldmann, and Eben William (Jamie) Goldmann, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews. Upon Helen's request, she was cremated and buried next to our dad. She didn't believe in funerals so raise your glass and "toast" to Helen in celebration of her amazing life! When she saw our dad in heaven, her face lit up because he was the love of her life! Together Again!
