Irene W. Weaver Obituary
IRENE W. WEAVER Age 94, passed away on 12/25/2012 in Banning, CA at Angel Moroni Cottage. She was born on 10/18/1918 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Howard B. Lindauer and Irene Virginia Goble. She was born and raised in Cincinatti, Ohio (1918-1952). She worked at Gruen Watch Co. before and during WWII in Cincinatti later on moving to and settling in Banning, CA with husband Harold F. Embshoff in 1952 becoming co-operator of "Hal's Date Mart" later to be renamed "Hal's Horseradish Shop." She continued on with son Harold R. Embshoff (Hal) after her husband's death in 1981. The business was acknowledged by City of Banning for 60 years in business. She loved to play golf and take turn-around trips to Laughlin with her best friend Iola Jones. Irene moved to Dallas, TX in 1989 to marry second husband Clarence Weaver, enjoying 20 years of marriage until Clarence's death in 2009, after which she moved back to Banning to be near her son. Her son wants to express a big thank you for all the love and support she always contributed to the 60 years of a cherished life living and working the family business her son now owns. Irene is survived by her only child Harold R. Embshoff (Hal) of Banning, CA; nieces Phyllis Todd and Diane Csellak; nephews David Weaver and Ken Embshoff; and long time best friend Iola Jones. She was preceded in death by her first husband Harold F. Embshoff; sister Virginia Weaver of Dallas, TX and second husband Clarence Weaver of Dallas, TX. A Memorial Service will be held on Wed., Jan. 9, 2013 at 11:00am at Wieffels's & Son Funeral Home in Banning, CA, followed by a reception at Angel Moroni Cottage, 597 N. Sunrise Ave., Banning, CA.
