Irineo Lira Carranza Obituary
IRINEO LIRA CARRANZA, 81, passed away to be in Heaven with our Lord Father on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015. He passed away in the comfort of his home with his loving family at his side. Irineo was born in Huaniqueo Michoacan Mexico on July 3, 1933. He came to Riverside, CA in the mid 1960's pursuing a better quality of life for his family. In those days his family consisted of wife Consuelo Bravo Carranza, sons and daughters, Saul (wife Esperanza), Rosa (husband Mike), Elizabeth, Joel, Maria (husband Nehemiah) and Martin (wife Karla). Since becoming a resident of Riverside his wife and he had two more children Jose Alfredo and Norma (husband Rene). Irineo lovingly supported his family working as a citrus farm worker, agricultural foreman, truck driver, and a real estate investor. After his siblings became adults, he ventured into orange grove farming and most recently he was a residential landlord. He really enjoyed restoring and building homes to rent. But his greatest joy and passion was his family. Words can never describe how much he'll be missed. We love you forever. Irineo was preceded by his father Jesus Carranza and mother Martha Lira; brothers Ciro, Antonio and Jesus; sisters Amalia and Candelaria. Irineo is survived by his brothers Margarito, Daniel, Abel and sister Celia; all his siblings, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Wake services will be from 5:30pm to 8:00pm, Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Montecito Memorial Park Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St., Loma Linda, CA 92354.
