JACK DERHO Jack was born in Bovey, MN on Oct. 9, 1930 passed away Jan. 12, 2016 at his home in Riverside, CA with family at his bedside. He graduated from Chino High School in 1948 and soon joined the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Korean War. Having spent 4 yrs. in the USMC, he was discharged in 1952 as a staff sergeant. Jack had many interests and excelled in drag racing his motorcycle (he held the record in CA, AZ and NV) in the '50's, bowling in the '60's, and golf in the 90's. His favorite during all those years was watching the L.A. Dodgers games. He loved rock 'n roll music in the 50's and 60's and was a great dancer! Jack had the best sense of humor and was an optimist all the way! He never said a bad word about anyone and being a "people person", never met a stranger. Always leaving with a happy "Toodles!" He is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Sapien (Mira Loma) and Debra Howell (La Verne); three grandchildren Bridgette Staley (his caregiver) of Riverside, Brian Sapien (MN) and Marin Rieger (MD).
