JACK STEVENS John Leroy Stevens, known as Jack, was born April 7, 1945 in Santa Monica, CA & died June 10, 2015 while with his son, Matthew Windsor Stevens. Cause of death was complications due to brain cancer & heart condition. Jack was a graduate of Las Vegas High School before going into the Army. He was a Vietnam veteran (9/65-6/67, 25th Infantry Division) & a Bronze Star recipient. An avid traveler and history buff, he enjoyed every museum he could find as well as boating on the Colorado River. He loved restoring cars & bonding with family & friends over them. Jack rode dirt bikes up until his mid 50's, liked to cook, made & refinished furniture, collected historical prints & ethnic art.
