JAMES ELLIOT WALSH "Jimmy" Jim "Jimmy" Walsh of Norco, CA, died on August 25, 2015 at the age of 68 in his favorite recliner. Jim was born in Los Angeles, CA on December 9, 1946, to Harold "Bud" and Marion Walsh. He lived his childhood in Torrance and graduated from Torrance High in 1965. He served in the Army and was stationed at Fort Davis, Colon, Panama. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brother Tom. He is survived by his brother Bill (wife Teri); sister Carolyn (husband Jerry); nephews Cole and Hunter; and niece Jennifer. Jim's love of family, honor to country, and service to others prepared him for his most rewarding vocations during his retirement. Jim was the past president of the Norco Horse Association, avid supporter of Norco High FFA, a member of the Norco Saddle Sore Riders, active in AQHA, a member of the VFW Men's Auxiliary. Jim is the 21st District Boys State Chairman. He proudly served as the 3rd Vice Commander for the Children/Youth of the American Legion Norco Post 328 while participating in the 40/8. Graveside Services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 12pm, staging area #1. Jim's life will be celebrated afterwards at Post 328, 3888 Old Hamner Rd, Norco, 92860. In lieu of flowers please honor Jim through donations to Boy's State c/o Post 328.
