Janet Robuck Obituary
JANET ROBUCK returned to the Heavenly Father on December 25th, 2015. She died at her home and was with her family. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 26, 1930, and was 85 years old at the time of her passing. She had a wonderful and fulfilling life and felt very blessed to have a loving family and a strong faith in God. In 1952 she married Richard Robuck and together they raised their family in Texas, New Mexico, and later in California. They shared a love for the outdoors and travel, as well as developing deep and lasting friendships with others. For 25 years Jan was an operating room nurse and loved caring for people. She also loved to cook and entertain and always had a smile on her face; she was everyone's friend. She enjoyed playing card games and was a fiercely competitive opponent of all who would challenge her. She was a selfless caregiver and always helped those in need. After Richard's passing in 1995, she fell in love with Duane (Tom) Thompson, and together they shared their lives together in Murrieta, California through her last days. Jan and Tom loved the outdoors and spent many memorable times traveling in their motorhome and jeeping to locations throughout the west, as well as sharing friendships with many people in the San Felipe, Mexico area. She is survived by her two sons Jeff, of Driftwood, TX, and Scott (Pam), of Idaho Falls, ID, Tom Thompson, of Murrieta, CA, and his two sons, Mike, and Scott, of Gilroy, CA. Memorial services will be officiated through Murrieta Valley Funeral Home on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at 10am. The family asks that donations and contributions be made to Samaritan's Purse.
