JASON WILLIAM ALLEN 9/23/75 - 9/26/96 This year you celebrate eighteen years in Heaven. Your impact here was immeasurable. As we all journey through life we impact the people we come in contact with. In turn, they impact others - in ever widening circles. We didn't fully realize the impact you had in your short 21 years and 3 days here until over 400 people showed up at your funeral. Relatives, friends, neighbors, girlfriends, preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, jr. high, high school and college teachers were there. High school attendance office workers, the owner of the repair shop that fixed your car, the florist where you bought flowers for girlfriends and relatives, the entire staff of the salon where you got your hair cut, parents of children that you took time to talk and play games with...We all gathered to mourn our heartbreaking loss and to celebrate our memories of you. We were all touched and forever changed by you ...and we will never forget you. We miss your smile, your voice, your sense of humor and amazing character - and the way you lived life with such passion. The following quote from an ancient Greek playwright and poet, Aeschylus, resonates with timeless truth: "Even in our sleep, pain which cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, until, in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom through the awful (powerful) grace of God." We love and miss you, Jason. Our comfort is that God's love is eternal and through His grace we live with hope and joy - knowing that Heaven's reunion is certain. Love, Mom and Matthew
