JEFFREY WILLIAM GLITCH was born on August 4, 1956 in New Castle, PA to Jo-Ann Zeigler and James W. Glitch (deceased). He passed away on February 26, 2015 at age 58 at Caldwell County Hospice, Hudson, NC of heart failure. Jeff grew up in Orange, CA and Bullhead City, AZ, where he graduated from Mohave High School in 1974. His working career began as an electrician in Bullhead City, AZ and Cambria, CA. He later became a commercial construction estimator in Riverside County, CA prior to re-locating to North Carolina. Jeff lived in Hudson, NC for 10 years and was employed by Bernhardt Furniture Co. in Lenoir as a Special Projects Manager. Thank you Elliott! Jeff had a very inquisitive mind and great sense of humor. He developed a broad, self-taught knowledge of computer technology, which he loved to share. He also had a great love of music, especially smooth jazz and blue grass. Jeff is survived by his daughter Jessica; mother Jo-Ann Ryan and step-father Wilfred Ryan of Hemet, CA; brother James Glitch (Susan) of Cambria, CA; niece Kimberley Arnold (Todd) of Santa Rosa, CA; and nephew Tai Glitch of Alta, CA. He is also survived by a step-brother, three step-sisters, a host of loving relatives, and many friends across the country, including his workmates at Bernhardt Furniture. Jeff will be greatly missed by close friends Ryan & Nancy, Elliot & Karen, and best friends Chuck & Marti. The family would like to thank the doctor, nurses, aides, social workers, and volunteers at Caldwell Hospice, Robbins Center, Hudson, N.C. for their loving care and support during Jeff's stay. A memorial service will be held April 13, 2015, 11:00am at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, 2555 Santa Fe Street, San Jacinto, CA. In honor of Jeff, Hawaiian shirts are optional.
