JENNIFER JOAN NEWBOLD STONE, 59, of Banning, CA, passed away on November 15, 2016 surrounded by her family in her home in Yucaipa, CA. Viewing will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 5pm-8pm at Wiefels & Son Mortuary, 50 E. Nicolet St., Banning. Funeral Service will be held at the Morongo Moravian Church, 477765 Foothill Rd., Banning on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 11am with Pastor Rob Necochea officiating. Burial to follow at the Morongo Indian Reservation Moravian Cemetery. Reception will be held at the Morongo Community Center at 1300 Malki Rd., Banning. Jennifer was born in Banning, CA to Wilbur "Fred" and Joan Newbold on February 1, 1957. She went to high school at Banning High School and graduated in 1975. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Azusa Pacific University (1979). She worked as an RN at Tri-City Hospital, Oceanside, CA (79-80), San Gorgonio Pass Memorial Hospital, Banning, CA (80-81), Meadowbrook Convalescent Hospital, Hemet, CA (81-82), and in the ICU at Redlands Community Hospital for 15 years (82-97). She enjoyed painting, traveling, spending time with her children, nieces, nephews and great nieces/nephews. She was a member of American Association Critical Care Nurses and served on the Tribal Council for Morongo Band of Mission Indians. Jennifer is survived by her daughter Stacey Stone; son Nicholas Stone; mother Joan Linton Newbold; sisters Nancy Kellogg & Melanie Newbold; nieces Holly & Rachel; nephews Chris & Joe; great nieces & nephews Valerie, Ethan, Natalie, Michael, Dylan, Ryker & Holden and her beloved cat Baby. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur "Fred" Newbold, grandparents Theodore Linton & Grace O. Linton, uncles John Hough, C.O. Hough & Roger Errol Linton.
