Jimmy Fuller Davis Obituary
JIMMY FULLER DAVIS Jimmy Fuller Davis was born in Plant City, Florida on January 5, 1939 to parents William & Ruby Davis and passed away at his home in Menifee, California on February 15, 2016. He is survived by his 3 children, youngest son William "Bruce" Davis, namesake Jimmy Fuller Davis, Jr., eldest daughter Debbie Bernard; daughter-in-law (Lillian Davis); 6 loving grandchildren (Corinne, Jimmy III, Justin, David, Meagan, Tyler); grandson-in-law (Henry Mejia); 6 beautiful great-grandchildren (Xavier, Isaac, Esme), (Kenzley), (Caroline, Carleigh)] and wife Barbara L. Davis (married 1992). From their 23-year marriage, Jimmy is also survived bountifully by 3 step-grandchildren (Luca, Soleil, Marissa), 3 step-great-grandchildren (Dominic, Devon, Layla), and step-daughter (Gina). He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings. Jimmy was very proud of time served in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1960 aboard the USS Ticonderoga. His long-time profession was a commercial truck driver, passing the skill on to his son Jimmy, with trade followed-by grandson Jimmy III. He later became management in this field for logistic operations. His favorite pastimes were telling and doing practical jokes, deep sea fishing, talking to his children, eating ice cream, vacationing, daily walks, and spending time with all of his grandkids. In later years he attended church, praying for family and friends. He was a people-person, had a great sense-of-humor, and shared unconditional love to all of his children and grandchildren. A viewing was held on Friday, 2/19 at Evans Brown Sun City Chapel. The services followed at 11:00 a.m., with a reception held afterward. Private interment was at the Riverside National Cemetery on Wednesday, 2/24.
