John H. Cain Obituary
JOHN H. CAIN John H. Cain passed away peacefully June 11, 2013. He was born at Ft. Wayne in Detroit, MI on March 3, 1944 to Charles and Helen Cain. He is survived by his wife Sheryl; daughter Caryn; brothers Jim (Sandy) and Pat (Jeannie), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Nan Walker of Rock Hill, South Carolina. He worked in sales for Mobile Oil and Johns Manville for many years while living in Michigan, then Indiana. In 1987 John and his family moved to California where he worked for Patrick Industries until retiring in 2004. Upon retiring, John and Sheryl enjoyed volunteering as camp hosts in the Oregon State Parks, where he loved selling firewood to the campers, making many friends in the process. John loved to travel, had a passion for flying, and enjoyed boating. Most of all, he loved meeting and talking to people. He never met a stranger. John, with his huge smile and warm heart, will be missed by many. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 29th at 11:00 am at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Avenue in Riverside, CA.
