JOSEPH REECE HARRISON Beloved father and grandfather passed away peacefully on November 18, 2013 in Murrieta, CA. Joe was born in San Diego, CA on January 5, 1919 to Ira Lee and Mabel Harrison and lived most of his life in Lake Elsinore, CA. Joe proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp from October 1942 to January 1946. After returning home, he started building and remodeling homes and businesses in the Lake Elsinore Valley. Joe worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for the Elsinore Navel and Military Academy as well as other businesses in the Valley. Joe was a great adventurer and traveler, gold mining in Alaska and riding the rails in his youth, hiking the Grand Canyon in his seventies. He loved to drive and covered most roads in the local area as well as many in the western states. Joe is survived by his brother, Jim Harrison; daughter Jodie Noriega (Raul); daughter Olivia DuMosch (Paul); son Robert Harrison; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
