Judith Ann Verespey Obituary
JUDITH ANN VERESPEY Born on February 8, 1940 in Scranton, PA went to be with the Lord on 3/30/2013, with her family at her side. She was a beautiful, loving mother and grandmother. She moved to CA in 1969 and began her working career in 1970 at the Fresno IRS, retired from the San Bernardino office in 2000 with 30 years of service in a variety of positions. Best known as "Grandma Judy" she leaves behind her husband Andrew, who she dated as a teenager before a marriage of over 53 years. She is survived by son David (wife Christina) of San Ramon, CA; daughter Debbie Knaggs of Riverside; son Barry (wife Kimberly) of Crestline, and the love of her life, seven grandchildren, Kelly and Kristy Knaggs, Joseph and Steven Verespey, and Cailtlyn, Danny and Emma Verespey. She enjoyed the yearly road trips to Florida and the East Coast to visit relatives and also visiting all the Historic Parks and places of interest. She had a great sense of humor and a delightful personality. She was the pillar that allowed the loving and caring family to grow. She will truly be missed by all who knew or met her. There will be a memorial mass on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 3774 Jackson St., Riverside, CA at 11:30am, followed by a celebration gathering at the Catherine Drexel Center (behind church). In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in her name to the American Liver Foundation. The family would like to thank the staff of Kaiser 5th Floor East Wing, and the Arlington Garden Care Center for their love, care and devotion while she was in their care.
