KARL ANDREW HENNICKE Born on November 30, 1963, in Seattle, Washington and passed away suddenly on November 1, 2012, in Coronado, CA. Karl was involved in law enforcement since the age of 14 when he began his career as a police explorer with Escondido Police Dept. After continuing on and graduating from the police academy, Karl started his career in Imperial, CA as a police officer. He worked there for several years and made many friends in the Imperial Valley. He went on to work for Hemet Police Department earning many awards and accomplishments before he was retired from a medical injury he received on the job. Karl continued to work closely with law enforcement. Karl built his own private investigation firm, Hennicke Investigations. His career also included working at the U.S. Marshall's Office in San Diego, Spectrum Security at the Adelanto Ice Facility and other security firms. His most recent job was as Vice President of Coastline Protection Services & Investigations in San Diego, CA. where he was extremely happy and appreciated by all the staff and clients he served. Karl was well known and liked in many law enforcement communities. Karl is survived by his wife of 27 years, Teri Hennicke (Severtson) and his 3 beautiful children, Carly, 22, Jack, 13, and Joe, 11. He is survived by his mother and father, Rudolf and Patricia Hennicke, (Crowley), brother, Mark Hennicke, father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Tina Severtson, Sister-in-law, Christy Spurgeon, brothers-in-law, Mike Spurgeon and Tony Severtson, his sweet niece, Taylor Spurgeon and nephews, Matthew and Michael Hennicke. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 7 from 5-8 pm at Murrieta Valley Funeral Home with a Catholic Funeral Mass on Thursday, November 8, 10 am at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Temecula,CA with a burial to follow at Murrieta Valley Cemetery. He lived his life to the fullest with his family and friends.. He taught his children so much in the short time they had him that he will never be forgotten. Karl had values, strong religious beliefs, integrity and most of all a kind and gentle heart that was full of life and love. He will be greatly missed by his family who loved him to the moon and stars above. We love you and think of you everyday and will always and forever. We will honor you and live our lives the way we planned to and the way you wanted your children to grow up. We know you will be with God watching over us always. Until we meet again.
