King Lamar Bailey Obituary
KING LAMAR BAILEY passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2014 at 58 years of age. He was born the second of three children on May 6, 1955 to Dwight and Barbara Bailey in Alturas, California. He and his family relocated to San Marcos, California when he was young. At San Marcos High School, King was involved in wrestling, football and bowling. In 1975, while living in San Diego, he met and married the love of his life, Frances Bailey. They built their life together in Riverside County (Wildomar, Murrieta and Canyon Lake). They had two children whom he loved with all his heart- Mike Bailey in 1980, and Cory Bailey in 1982. King worked for many decades as an Operating Engineer, with a focus on Hazmat remediation. His work took him to many interesting locations all over California, as he was a key player in countless high profile jobs. King loved his work and many of the wonderful people he met along the way. King was a beautiful soul. He was a caring, devoted husband; a gentle, loving father; and a friend to everyone he met. He had a joke and a smile for all. Rest In Peace, King. Your humor, kind heart and big personality will be forever missed. I hope you walked into heaven like you owned the place. A memorial picnic will be held at Lake Skinner, in Winchester, California March 16, 2014 at 1p.m. Please bring pictures to share and stories to tell.
