Lina Bonsembiante Obituary
LINA BONSEMBIANTE Lina passed away at her home in Moreno Valley on October 11, 2012 at the age of 87 after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born on July 20, 1925 in St. Gallen, Switzerland to Lina and Emil Kuster. Lina was preceded in death by her husband Gildo Bonsembiante in 2005. Lina, her husband and daughter Susan came to the United States from Switzerland in 1958, and moved to Phoenix, Arizona with friends. In 1998 Lina and Gildo moved to Moreno Valley to be closer to their daughter Susan. Moreno Valley then became their permanent residence. Lina loved life. Even though she was hard of hearing she refused to wear her hearing aids. She could chime into any conversation and make you laugh hysterically. She enjoyed reading, listening to music from Lawrence Welk and the "Flying Dutchman" Andre Rieu. She also enjoyed German music. During the past few years she enjoyed being out on the back patio lying in a patio lounger in the warmth of the sun. She is survived by her daughter Susan Plasczyk; granddaughter Kathy Plasczyk Ponce, and great-grandson Troy Hinojosa. Interment will be private. A remembrance reception will be at the Sunnymead Ranch Lake Club, 23600 Sunnymead Ranch Parkway, Moreno Valley on 10/18/12 from 6pm to 9pm. Please contact the Lake Club office for any further information if needed at 951-924-4429. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions to the (800) 272-3900 or VNA Hospice (951) 656-3153 or 5235 Rivercrest Dr., Suite P, Riverside, CA 92507.
