Linda Ruth Cooper Obituary
LINDA RUTH COOPER Linda was born in Riverside, California to Bert W. and Evelyn J. Devin on March 19, 1946. She had a normal early childhood but when she was four years old, her father died as a result of injuries he received in World War II. Four years later, she got a new "daddy" when Evelyn became Mrs. Merle Clark. With the daddy came a new five year old brother, John. Her life was quite normal with family, church, school, and friends-lots of friends-summer vacations and Thanksgiving and Christmas at grandmothers and grandfathers. She graduated from Ramona High School and earned an Associate of Arts degree from RCC. She had two great sorrows: a twenty three year marriage unfortunately ended in divorce and her brother John preceded her in death. But she went bravely on with her life. She is survived by her mother and father, Evelyn and Merle Clark, several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. During the last few years, Linda had a very special businessMonart of Corona, where she taught children how to draw. They all loved Miss Linda (and so did their parents). Of course she loved each one of them and she loved her work. She will be sorely missed and forever loved. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Cancer or Heart fund...or to . "...they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them." Rev. 14:13b Celebration of Life Service at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Magnolia Presbyterian Church, 7200 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA 92504.
