Linda Singletary Heaslet Obituary
In loving memory of LINDA SINGLETARY HEASLET Born June 9, 1950 to Gaylor Wilson Singletary and Maxine Jean Singletary in Riverside, California. She passed away at her home in Newport Beach, California on June 23, 2015 at the age of 65 due to Pancreatic Cancer. She graduated from Riverside Poly High School and she earned her degree in business from the University of Redlands. She retired from "The Southern California Gas Company" over twenty years of service and dedication. She was very proud to be a member of the Law Alliance. Another charity she enjoyed helping was the "Assistance League" of Riverside. She found her true love, the Honorable Timothy John Heaslet. They were married in Riverside in 1984. They had a marriage that most people only dream of. Unfortunately Tim passed away just short of them celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. One of the happiest times in Linda and Tim's life was when they were members of the "Balboa Basin Yatch Club". They would spend endless summer days on their Carver Boat ("Ms. Linda") socializing with good friends and enjoying beautiful sunsets. One of Linda's passion would be to serenade Tim with her beautiful voice. She will be remembered as a strong independent women who had many qualities that she shared with her friends and family. Her motto was to stand strong in the face of adversity, move forward in life and cherish your family and friends. She is survived by her stepmother Gloria Singletary; her sister Gaylene S Taylor; her brother-in-law John M Taylor; her stepson Timothy J. Heaslet II "Timmer", his wife Deanna and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations in Linda's name can be sent to or Compass Church.
