Louis F. "Lou" De Pasquale Obituary
LOUIS F. DE PASQUALE "LOU" was born in Los Angeles, California on September 4, 1932 to parents Frank & Isabella De Pasquale and passed away in Wildomar, California on February 26, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Lou is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Carmen; 2 children Mark L. De Pasquale (Donna) and Deborah Anne Dolim; 2 step-children George Rosales (Cindy) and Julie Tegeler (Larry); 7 grandchildren Tiffany, Robin, Rachel, Tara, Jasen, Karyna, and Malissa; 6 great-grandchildren Alec, Erik, Matthew, Kayla, Alexia, and Adrion; and brother Robert De Pasquale (Marie). He was preceded in death by his children Frank, and Julie. Lou served in the U.S. Army for 2 years during the Korean War. Professionally he worked as the manager for his family's bowling alley, "Pasquale's Arena Bowl," in South Gate for many years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in L.E./Wildomar where he was very involved. Lou was an avid sports fan, mostly of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His teams were the Lakers, Dodgers, and Lake Elsinore Storm. He loved to watch the Little League World Series on TV every year. His favorite sport to play was bowling. Lou also enjoyed traveling and going to the movies, and he went often. He was a fan of the game-show, "The Price is Right" wherein he had a small cameo years ago and actually got to spin the wheel. He still watched the show almost daily. Lou always had a strong input and voiced his opinion with property built on the family land. Lou's family and friends alike will miss his candor, wit, and kind spirit. Like fine wine and cheese, Lou was an acquired taste, but priceless to the many who knew and loved him. Lou loved to share his "off the cuff" opinions which were priceless. Lou had a favorite saying at family gatherings: "If you have family and friends around you that was great, but family was #1Salud!" A viewing will be held at St. Frances of Rome (21591 Lemon St. Wildomar, CA 92595) on Tuesday, March 8th at 9:00 a.m. with a funeral mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Wildomar Cemetery (21400 Palomar St. Wildomar, CA 92595).
