Louis Leon Pacific Obituary
LOUIS LEON PACIFIC Age 59, died on August 1st, 2013 at his home in Mission Viejo from natural causes. He was the oldest son of Lewis and Dolly Pacific, born in Detroit Michigan but grew up in Riverside California and Dandanong Australia. As a child, he worked throwing newspapers, and picking potatoes to support getting him through high school. Louis was a brilliant entrepreneur and as he grew older, became an expert in the field of mortgage banking. As an entrepreneur, he owned and operated car washes, body and paint businesses, real estate companies, mortgage companies, liquor stores and was a broker/consultant to some of the largest mortgage banking institutions in Orange County. Louis served with distinction in the US Navy doing his tours in Vietnam on the USS Oriskany to support the Vietnam War in the Gulf of Tonkin. He was wounded during his service and received commendations for his dedication and bravery. He received the National Defense Service Medal, along with the medal for his service in Vietnam. The discipline and patriotism he earned in the Navy never left him, as friends and family will attest. Louis is survived by his wife and love, Gloria; 3 wonderful children Christopher, Sarah and Rachel; parents Lewis and Dolly; siblings Pam, Frank, Dan and Tim. Services will be held Monday, August 12th, 2013 at Atchison and Graham. 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside Ca 92504. Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Services will start at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral to follow at Riversides National Cemetery.
