MAJOR LEROY A. SEIPP
Leroy Seipp, known to friends as "Randy", passed away peacefully at his home on October 27, 2017 at the age of 96. Born in Fredericksburg, Texas on January 1, 1921 to Alex and Erna Seipp, he was one of seven children.
He served as a USMC night fighter pilot in WWII on the aircraft carrier "USS Gilbert Islands" and in the Korean War.
He is a recipient of the Silver Star and four Distinguished Flying Cross metals. He retired after 23 years of service in 1964. He owned his own business, Chemical Specialties in Anaheim until 1982. He is survived by his wife Marjorie of 72 years; four children: Cynthia, Carol, Linda and Randall; seven grandchildren: Shaneen, Lisa, Amber, Jason, Robert, Katherine and Warren; and, seven great- grandchildren: Kristen, Riley, Logan, Ireland, Grey, Ashlyn and Kinsley. Services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on November 13th at 11am.
