Manuel Cervantez Rivas Obituary
MANUEL CERVANTEZ RIVAS, age 87, passed away 12/16/14 at Redlands Community Hospital. Lived in Redlands for 61 years. Joined the Army/Air Force and later became a plasterer tender in his working years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #650. Manuel is survived by his wife of 65 years, Hope Rivas of Redlands; daughters, Loretta Rivas of Loma Linda, Elizabeth Rivas of Riverside, Rebecca Rivas and Cindy Rivas Burke, both of Redlands; sons, George and Arthur Rivas, both of Redlands. Sisters Esther Falcon of Banning; Berdie Valencia and Dolores Yanez, both of Indio and a brother Joe Rivas of Palm Springs. His legacy also includes 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Guadalupe Rivas and his brothers, Alfonso, Robert and Marcelino Rivas. Services to be held on Saturday, 12/27/2014 at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, CA. Viewing to be held from 9:00 11:00 a.m. with graveside services following at 11:30 a.m.
