Margot Hentenaar Shilling Obituary
MARGOT HENTENAAR SHILLING was born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany on March 3, 1927 where she met and married her beloved, late husband of 50 years, Joseph (Joe) Gunther Shilling. She is the mother of three daughters: Gertrude Kazmi Stiles, Yrena Friedmann Niewald and Karla Rindskopf of Murrieta, Carlsbad and Yorba Linda, CA respectively and is the aunt to Renate Hentenaar of Walldorf, Germany. Margot was a devoted wife, mother and keeper of the home and helped her husband in the family business, Shilling's Pharmacy in Riverside, CA. She also volunteered at Riverside Community Hospital and was an active member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church while living in Riverside. She moved to Menifee 14 years ago where she recently became involved in The Oasis community and Red Hat Society. She passed on peacefully in her home on October 5, 2015 after an abundant life. Margot has 7 grandchildren (Yusuf Kazmi of Roswell, Georgia, Harun Kazmi of San Diego, CA, Hayley Hill of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Eric Friedmann of Danville, IL, Jessica Stephenson of Murrieta, CA, Tara Rindskopf of Corona, CA and Jeffrey Rindskopf of Seattle, WA) and has 8 great grandchildren (Connor, Keller, Noah and Wolfgang Kazmi; Eric, Justice and Chase Stephenson and Madelynn Perez). Her husband, Joe, and her sister Gertrud Hentenaar preceded her in moving to heaven. We will always remember her life, laugh and love of family and friends. Please join us in a celebration of her life at Evans-Brown Mortuary in Sun City on November 7 at 11AM, followed by an open house in her home in Menifee.
