Marian Yvonne "Toni" Stewart Obituary
MARIAN "TONI" YVONNE STEWART was born December 31, 1929 in Davis, California. (She loved having her birthday on New Year's Eve, as she knew there would always be a party!) She passed away on March 10, 2014, peacefully at her home in Murrieta, California. Toni was one of 8 children born to Mahon Dadigan and Mildred Dunphy Dadigan. She moved to Lake Elsinore, California, where she met and married Edwin Ambrose Stewart, and raised 3 children. She was a spiritual person, whose life was dedicated to the service of others - specifically children. She loved performing as a clown/balloon lady, and spent a great deal of time creating puppet shows, to the delight of her young audiences. She had a passion for jazz, and would attend the Sacramento Jazz Festival whenever possible. Her other passion was for Mexico (living there at one time), with the bright colors of the culture reflected in her decor, clothing and the Mariachi music she loved. Toni is survived by her sister, Zella Allington, of Atlanta, GA; son, Edwin Stewart of San Clemente, CA; daughter, Judy Stewart of Eugene, OR; son, Brian Stewart of Lake Elsinore, CA, (their spouses); 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Toni requested no services, but would like to be remembered by celebrating her - whether in service to someone else or raising a glass to a life well lived.
