Marjorie June Ball Obituary
Marjorie passed away at home in Romoland, California on April 2, 2017. She was born in Pablo, Montana on February 17, 1922 to parents Albert Jerome & Mary Jane Brown. She was raised in La Habra, California with her sister Ione and her brother Glen, both deceased. She married John T. Ball (deceased) of Brea, California in 1941; they were married for fifty-six years. Marjorie is survived by her three children: Marilynn Keil, Vickie Urban (Michael) and Robert Ball (Terri); six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie loved her family above anything else. She enjoyed sewing for them, making baby clothes even for the great-grandchildren. She designed and made many prom and fancy dresses for her daughters. She enjoyed cooking and baking and made the best lemon meringue pie ever. She was very busy the last few years making jewelry and holding jewelry making instruction sessions for her friends
Marjorie lived in several communities in California: La Habra, Taft, Ventura, Bakersfield, Brea, and finally, since 1977, Romoland. She was very active in the Woman's Club of Sun City and Menifee and the Red Hat Society. She loved making and giving away beautiful jewelry. She was a very happy person who was a delight to be around. Her family and friends alike will miss her loving ways and extremely generous spirit. She never let you leave her without saying "I love you best."
Since Marjorie recently celebrated her 95th birthday with a wonderful open house party which was attended by so many friends, the family wishes that everyone remember her as she was that day; vivacious, happy and excited to greet all her guests. Graveside services will be held with her family at Loma Vista Cemetery in Brea, California at a later date. EVANS BROWN MORTUARY (951) 679-1114
