Mark Traber Wagner Obituary
MARK TRABER WAGNER born January 14, 1956, devoted husband, father, and Grampy, left this world for the stars he loved on January 9, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Mary; son Kevin; daughter Regina Shanta (Derrick), as well as his two cherished grand-daughters, Tess and Norah. He also leaves behind sisters Pat Neuman (Bob), Mary Berlin, Peggy Funk (Larry); brothers John (Gayle) and George Wagner; sisters-in-law Marcelline Cruzen (Jim), Kathy Hamilton (John), Patty Verwiel, Lorie Mumper (Greg), Beth Stralka (Al), and brothers-in-law Joe, John, Bill, Tommy (Judy), and Paul (Dondi) Verwiel. Though there are too many to list, Mark's many nieces and nephews will also never forget their crazy uncle. Life long resident of Riverside, he attended St. Thomas Elementary, Notre Dame High School, and Humboldt State University. Mark loved the outdoors, running on Mt. Rubidoux, fishing and camping with his children and grandkids and more recently, contemplating the stars at his cabin in Joshua Tree. He traveled over much of the world from Taiwan to Ireland. Mark was always the first to crack a joke or start a party off with a rousing cheer, and he would be the first person to tell you, "I'm a nice guy and people like me!" Services will be held on Friday, January 16th at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church at 10am with a celebration of life following directly after at the Wagner family home.
