Mary (Cuomo) Clover Obituary
MARY (CUOMO) CLOVER passed away on March 2, 2015 in her apartment at Brookdale Senior Living from natural causes. She was 95 years old. Mary was born in Utica, New York on May 23, 1919 to John Salvatore Cuomo and Rose Orsini Romano from Italy. Mary was a loving mother and raised two children. She worked most of her adult life and can best be remembered for her many years as a salesperson at GKC's in the Riverside Plaza and at the downtown location. In her later work years she sold jewelry at the Jewelry Outlet in the Brockton Arcade. She loved entertaining, cooking hearty Italian dinners and toasting to the good life. Those were joyous occasions remembered by everyone who graced her table. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters, enjoyed playing cards, and traveling. Mary will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Mary is survived by her daughter Vera Denti; son Lou Denti; daughter-in-law Lisa Mills; and sister Helen Trovato. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Dion Denti and wife Erin Denti, Julius Mills-Denti, Lia Mills-Denti, and Philip Rietberg and wife Lisa Rietberg; two great-grandchildren, Ella and Robert Denti as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Peter, Joe, Nino, and Frank Cuomo. Memorial services for Mary (Cuomo) Clover will be held Monday, March 9 at 11 a.m. at Arlington Mortuary, 9645 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA.
