1927- 2017

Pete was born in Globe, Arizona on July 1, 1927 and passed away July 11, 2017 at Sandy Lodge Board and Care in Sun City, California. We wish to thank the staff for their compassion, understanding, and love. We also want to thank the many visitors who came to see him.
He served in The U.S. Navy in WW11 entering when he was 15 years old. He was in a C. B unit attached to the Marines in Special Services. After his discharge he was a Structural Ironworker and was a member of lAW 435. He married Genevieve Sorci in 1947 and had three children, Richard, Michael , and Cynthia. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, VFW, American Legion, and was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous, clean and sober for 56 years, helping numerous alcoholics to stay sober.
He married Betty Jean Bradley Hogan in 1989 and was stepfather to Joanne Watson and Patricia Craig. He had several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pete traveled extensively with Jean and visited numerous countries abroad and traveled in most of the United States.
Graveside services will be held at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, on Thursday, July 27th, at 10:00 a.m. A celebration of life and luncheon will be held immediately afterward at VFW Post 888, 623 S. "D" St., Perris, where all are invited.
