She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In reflecting on her life earlier this year, Minnie said, "I really had a fairy tale life. One man for almost 57 years, a wonderful family, a fulfilling career and a lifetime of helping others." She was always warm, kind, caring and respectful to all. Minnie became a registered nurse in 1957 and later earned her Bachelors (BSHS). She received an American legion award, was valedictorian and class president. From 1967-1989, Minnie was the Kaiser Riv Clinic Supervisor. Minnie was a foundational part of creating and designing the KPRMC. Since retiring after 29 years with Kaiser, Minnie enjoyed spending time with her loving family and continued to support nurses and women's rights in Zonta for 30 years, including being president in 2000.
