NANCY ANN CLAXTON (BLUE) Nancy Ann Claxton (Blue) of Moreno Valley, age 67 passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 peacefully at Kaiser Hospital among family. Nancy was a kind, sweet, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Nancy was born February 1956 in Ada, OK. and moved west with her family and was raised in Eloy, AZ. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents T.R. and Sylvia Simpson as well as a sister, Janie, age 12. She worked for years at both Moreno Valley and Valley View High Schools. Upon retirement she and her husband Woodie of 48 years loved to travel. She was so happy for her trip "Down Under" and never thought she would ever make it there and then years later would take a trip above the Arctic Circle. She loved to travel by train and enjoy the scenery of God's handy work. She loved to quilt and did so every chance she got. She is survived by her husband Woodie; sons, Ray and Steven; daughter-in-laws, Monica and Heather and the real and greatest joys in her life, her three grand daughters, Jenessa, Hannah and Rachel. She is also survived by six brothers and four sisters. Nancy never met a stranger and is loved by so many and she touched the hearts and lives of all those around her. A funeral service will be graveside, Friday, October 18, 2013 at 2:00p.m. in Eloy, AZ. with a memorial service at 1:00p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Church of Christ 12660 Indian St. Moreno Valley, CA. She was a loyal wife, loving mother and grandmother who always had your back.
