NANCY LOU (STORCH) RASNER
Nancy passed away peacefully on February 4, 2017. She was born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania to Clyde and May Storch on September 24, 1931. She graduated from Pottsville High and continued her education to become a Registered Nurse graduating in 1952. In 1961 the family moved to California where she continued nursing until 1969.
In 1969 she married the love of her life V. W. "Bud" Rasner. Retiring in 1976 they bought a ranch in Riverside, California where she enjoyed quilting and machine embroidery. After Bud's passing in 2010 she joined the Janet Goeske Senior Center and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.
She leaves behind her sister Phyllis Strause of Pottsville; her children Mark Cherry (Connie) of Newport Beach, Debra Cassiero of Reseda, Diane Pearson (Gary) of Reseda, Michele Rodriguez of Riverside, Marty Starr (Will) of Laguna Niguel, and Reginald Rasner of Perris; six grandchildren Brady, Adam, Lindsey, Alex, Brandon, and Jason; three great grandchildren Krissy, Sean and Jackson; and her best friend Peggy Pingel (Don) of Evansville, Indiana.
Please join us for a celebration of life at the Inland Memorial Hermosa Cemetery Chapel at 900 Meridian Street, Colton, California on February 22nd at 10:30am. Immediately following graveside services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, California.
