Nancy Marlene (Marli) Calabrese Obituary
NANCY MARLENE (MARLI) CALABRESE January 6, 1950 - November 6, 2015 Marli, beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, went to Heaven on November 6, 2015, after a long struggle with cancer. Marli was born January 6, 1950, in Wolf Point, Montana, to Norma and Soren (Pete) Jensen. She grew up near and in Circle, Montana. She graduated from Circle High School, attended Eastern Montana College, and earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Redlands in California. She married the love of her life, Giovanni Calabrese, on December 31, 1974. After living in Northern California for several years, they made their home in Temecula, California, where Marli retired from Rancho Water and began a successful career in real estate. Marli's greatest joy was her family, and she spent as much time with them as possible; she especially adored her five grandchildren. Marli was beautiful, both inside and out; her smile, her ability to communicate with people in all walks of life, and her wonderful sense of humor drew everyone to her. She loved people and they loved her. She was gracious, kind, and generous like no other. Marli had the unique ability to make each of us feel like we were the most important person in her life. She was so much fun to be around, and she loved to entertain and host friends and relatives in her home, which she did often. She loved her birthplace, Montana, and Giovanni's, Italy, especially Capri. Marli is survived by her "Vita," Giovanni, to whom she was married for almost 41 years; her children, Reno Calabrese (Danielle), Dario Calabrese (Danielle), and Annamaria Loven (Brad); her grandchildren, Sofia, Luca, and Jonah Calabrese and Brayden and Catalina Loven; her father, Soren Jensen, and a large and loving extended family. Private services were held.
