June 1942, St. Louis, MO – Aug. 2017, Yakima, WA
Norman passed away in Yakima, August 16, 2017, from a massive heart attack, occurring while actively fighting cancer.
Norman migrated from St. Louis to Inglewood, CA with his parents and siblings, graduating from Inglewood High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from March 1961 to March 1967, with his active duty station the USS Montrose.
After his release from active duty, Norman and his wife moved to Hemet where his parents had recently relocated. Norman and his wife separated without children. He stayed in Hemet where he later took care of his widowed mother before her passing. Norman moved to Yakima in 2013, leaving his parents at their final rest in Hemet.
He leaves behind his brother in Poway, CA; his sister in Coos Bay, OR; his nephews, nieces and friends. All will miss him. Rest in peace, my brother.
Services will be held at the Yakima VFW Post #379, September 13, 2017 at 10:30 AM. His final resting place will be Auburn National Cemetery, Auburn, Washington.
