OLEN G. BAGGETT, JR. 11/05/1924 ~ 11/16/2014 Passed away at Kaiser Hospital -Fontana. Born in Oklahoma City, OK to Olen G. Baggett, Sr. and Lula Mae Strother Baggett. Olen attended Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma City and L.A. City College; earning his B.A. and M.A. Degrees at Cal State University -L.A.; where he was a collegiate golfer. He was a teacher and coach par excellence at Palmdale High School, San Bernardino Valley College, Crafton Hills College; retiring after 28 years in 1986. Olen served two stints in the U.S. Air Force, Air Crash Rescue. He resided in Horsetown, USA- Norco the past 28 years. Enjoyed horse racing and breeding, he was very patriotic, conservative and very loyal to his friends. Olen was an animal lover at heart; they gravitated to him in a room. He is survived by his son Lindy with his first wife Ramona, and by his wife of 64½years, Pat; his brother Carl (Nini) and many cherished nieces, nephews, in-laws, "family" friends, goddaughter, Lorenita McCrumby-Holloway, and Buster (as in Posey) the cat. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Bill and sister Pat. Viewing will be on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 11:00 AM; followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM at Thomas Miller Mortuary, 1118 E. Sixth St., Corona. Interment will be private at Inglewood Park Cemetery Mausoleum. May God Bless Junior Baggett.
