Patricia A. Hale Obituary
PATRICIA A. HALE, a resident of the Altavita CCRC in Riverside , CA, passed away suddenly on 1/27/16. Her beloved husband of 52 years and their elder son were by her side. Other than husband Charlie she is survived by sons Charles R and Curtis; daughter-in-law Bridgette; grandson Noah; brother J. David Carter and wife Rosemary of Nicholasville, KY; sister Priscilla Neff of Campobello, SC; sister-in-law Harriet (Hale) Buff and husband Loy; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Born 9/12/40 in Lynch, KY to James Richard and Mary Louise (Maloney) Carter she grew up among the mountains of WVA and KY. After graduating from Lynch HS, Pat earned an Associate in Arts degree from VA Intermont College. She then moved to Atlanta, GA working as a medical secretary and then as a chartist for the Federal Reserve Bank. Following a whirlwind courtship Pat became an Air Force wife on 09/15/63 at Moody AFB GA. Together they spent much of their 52+ years serving our country at numerous domestic and foreign locations. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on 2/23/16 at Moreno Valley's St. Patrick Catholic Church, 10915 Pigeon Pass Rd. Interment follows at 11:45 A.M. at Riverside National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life begins at 12:30 P.M. in Altavita's Convocation Room (17050 Arnold Dr. Riverside CA 92518). In lieu of flowers donations in Pat's name may be made to Catholic Charities, Food for the Poor, The Salvation Army or another .
