Patricia Ann Tatro Obituary
PATRICIA ANN TATRO July 22, 1946 - - August 20, 2014 - Born Patricia Ann Wallace in Long Beach, CA, Patricia grew up in Norwalk and attended Artesia High School. While working at Clark Drugs, she met and married her first husband Michael McNeilly. They had two daughters, Rhonda and Lisa. As a youngster, Pat was a bit of a curious tomboy. Hanging around in her parents boat shop, she loved to tinker, which was encouraged by the first love of her life, her father. Pat became an expert water skier and boater. She told stories of taking off from the beach, skiing around Marine Stadium in Long Beach, and returning to the beach to step out of her skis, without getting her street clothes wet. Pat dearly loved the Colorado River, most of all, and spent many weekends of her life there over the years. It was only natural that she became a part of the recreational boating industry and was employed there in various capacities for most of her life. "Trish" as she was known by many, worked in both wholesale and retail sales positions, as well as bookkeeping, and even sometimes, combining the two. After being divorced for many years, in 2001 Pat re-connected with her long-time friend and soon to be husband, Jay. They happily shared the rest of her life together.
Patricia and Jay have lived in Hemet, since 2008. In addition to her husband and many friends, Patricia is survived by her loving mother Helen King of Hemet, daughters Rhonda Stewart and family of Perris, and Lisa Price and family of Mariposa, Ca. Also, by her four grandchildren, Davia, Matthew, Travis, and Sarah Jean, as well as three great-grandchildren. Patricia lost her battle with cancer after a very short illness. Her family and friends take great comfort in the fact that she didn't linger or suffer. She will be sorely missed by her family, and the many people who knew and loved her. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at 2 PM Saturday, the 6th of September, in the Panorama Village Clubhouse at 1401 Teakwood Place, Hemet, CA. All who knew Patricia, or her family members, are invited to attend.
