PATTI LOU CORL, 74, of San Jacinto, CA, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016, after a brave battle with brain cancer. She was born in San Diego, CA on October 3, 1942, lived in Riverside, CA most of her life and lived the last 10 years of her life in San Jacinto, CA. She graduated from Ramona High School. She worked in the court system in Riverside and San Bernardino for over 38 years. The pinnacle of her success, earning the position of branch manager of San Bernardino county's Rancho Cucamonga branch. She loved the responsibility her career brought her and all of the wonderful people she worked with. She retired in 2004. She loved all animals, especially dogs, was a voracious reader, enjoyed crocheting, enjoyed films & television, and most of all, cherished the time she spent with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances Barnes and Charles Barnes, brothers, Charles Barnes and Chris Barnes, and sister Gloria Kirk. She is survived by her son Mark Stephen Corl of San Jacinto, CA, together with his fiancee, Cheri Hayes of Redlands, CA; long-time family friend Elaine Morrison of Riverside, CA; sister-in-law Jane Bayne; niece Cree Jaeger; nephew Chad Barnes and brother Tom Barnes, together with his wife Susan Barnes. A private, family celebration of her life will be held. A kind and gentle soul, who lived her life knowing the true meaning of the words compassion, integrity, understanding, and acceptance. "She gave so much and demanded so little... She lives in the hearts of all who knew her."
