Paul Kraxberger Sr. Obituary
PAUL KRAXBERGER, SR., passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the age of 88. He was born in Denver, Colorado, but has been a resident of Norco, CA for the past 35 years. Paul was a Truck Driver who owned and operated Paul & Jewell Kraxberger Trucking. He was a CSHA member and a Judge for Gymkanna, was one of the few people responsible for helping to open the Pacific Crest Trail and was sponsored by Purina 1970-1971 to do so, he rode the Pony Express from Utah to Sacramento in 1976, was a member of the Norco Trail Committee, the Horseman's Assoc., and many other horseman's clubs. He was the Marshall of the Horse Week Parade, and was a major contributor to many horse functions and parades. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Zammit and Judy Russell; his sons, Paul Jr., Art, and Phil (grandson); 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Jewell in 2005. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 10am all at Pierce Bros.
