PAUL 'AMMO' MICHAEL AMICONE January 12, 1955 - May 16, 2015 Paul "Ammo" Michael Amicone was born January 12, 1955 in Detroit, MI to Stephen and Joanne Amicone. He had been a resident of Riverside County for over 20 years. Paul was a sworn police officer and dedicated his life to Law Enforcement for 36 years. Early in his career, he worked at Rialto Police Department for 18 years. He worked in several different divisions, such as homicide and narcotics, which he loved dearly. Most recently, Paul worked as a Supervising Investigator for the District Attorney of San Bernardino. Paul loved his family; friends; sitting in his recliner watching the Vikings or the Angels play; guns; watching his son play baseball; teasing his wife; and laughing, among many other things. He was a man of many passions, loyal to the core, and dedicated to his people. He was a loving husband; father, brother, son, uncle, and friend. Paul married his wife Gina Heron Amicone September 24, 2005. He is survived by his wife Gina; his daughter, Kristen; his son, Nick; his step daughter Brittainy; his sisters Stephanie, Michele, Susan and Roberta; and his parents Stephen and Joanne. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 16, 2015, from bladder cancer. A Rosary will be prayed in his honor at 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at St. Andrews Newman Center; a funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, May 22, 2015 at St. Catherine's of Alexandria; and a burial will take place immediately following at approximately 2:30 PM at Montecito Memorial Park. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations are made in Paul's memory to the Survivor's Memorial Fund through the CA Narcotics Officers Association.
