Paul S. Waddell Obituary
PAUL S. WADDELL, 51, lifelong resident of Riverside, CA, passed away peacefully due to complications related to cancer. Paul passed with his family by his side on March 8, 2014 into the loving arms of his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. He leaves behind his loving parents, Loraine & Robert Waddell of Riverside; sister Bonnie and her husband David Anderson of Hemet; nieces Wendy and husband Mike Smith of Hemet, & Cheryl and husband Ben Cummings of La Jolla; beloved great-niece & nephew Lily & Evan Smith, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and close friends who were his extended family. Paul loved the Lord with all his heart. He got saved & attended Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside. Paul graduated from Arlington High in 1980. He was a dedicated employee of Johnson Machinery in Riverside for 35 years. In Paul's youth he had a love for animals, and they seemed to love him just as much. He was a member of the Woodcrest Pacers 4-H Club. He owned & showed sheep, beef, swine & rabbits at the county fairs. In his adult life, he loved to travel. He visited England several times to visit friends & tour Europe. He also visited Ireland, Scotland, France, Canada, & Cancun to name a few. Paul put others above himself and was such a loving & caring man. He never missed a family gathering and will be greatly missed until we reunite in heaven. Memorial services will be held this Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 9:30 am at Harvest Christian Fellowship, 6115 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA, with interment immediately following at Olivewood Memorial Park. We also would like to thank all the staff at VNA Hospice for taking such wonderful care of Paul during his illness.
